Laying Low

Speaking to a friend the other week and one of the areas we were discussing was the prophetic and during that conversation she told me about a lady she had heard on the BiCOP, and what she related really stirred up my spirit, so I decided to find it on you tube and listen to this.

I found the recording (Friday 11th February) and the prophet she was speaking about was Autumn Hunt.

Autumn described a vision that she had of a large white horse which she knew was angelic and described how she was really crouched down very low underneath the horse, that she had no fear she was filled with wonder had peace and enjoyed being there.  Later she then asked God about what is going on in the spirit and why was I so low there? and the Lord replied and said the posture for battle is humility, there is a security safety and understanding in this.

1st Peter 5:6 humble yourself therefor under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time.

When I heard this, it reminded me in my spirit of the scripture that God gave me for 2 years.

Exodus 14:14 The lord shall fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.

Another is

2 Chronicles 20:15 and He said, hearken ye all Judah, and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you King Jehoshaphat. Thus said the Lord unto you, be not afraid or dismayed by reason of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours but God’s.

Now if you read these chapters in Exodus and 2nd Chronicles you will find that the first reaction after getting a bad report was fear and the first thing Moses in Exodus and Jehoshaphat in Chronicles did was seek the Lord not their friends or pastor or family, but they sought the LORD and asked Him what shall we do?

When we run into difficulties which trouble us in our own lives, when we get that report from the doctor or there is family crisis perhaps an unexpected bill, financial lack, redundancy from work etc.

What is our first reaction? ok perhaps we may be afraid or get anxious about any given situation however who do we speak to our husband/ wife lift the phone to chat it over with the pastor or a trusted close friend. Now where none of these are wrong in themselves because the bible teaches us to seek good counsel, I believe we should be like Moses and Jehoshaphat and seek the Lord first that brings Him right into the situation and places Him first in all things.

Mathew 6:33 But seek first the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness and all these things shall be added to you.

Phil 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Testimony about Phil

Paul also teaches us in the following:

2 Cor 12:9 and he said to me My grace is sufficient for thee; for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

10 therefore I take pleasure in infirmities in reproaches in persecutions in distress for Christ’s sake for when I am weak then I am strong.

The Lord teaches us all the way throughout history as recorded in the bible that He will fight our battles and all we have to do is trust and believe leave them with him and He will bring us through.

However, we can get in the way by trying to sort out things in our own way why? the simple answer to this is our pride.

1John 2:16 for all that is in the world the lust of flesh and the lust of the eyes and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but it is of the world.

Testimony my family (How easy it is to slip).

Remember Genesis 3: 1 and if you are pressing on in remember that the enemy is subtle.

When we try to fix our own difficult situations without seeking First the kingdom, we are in effect saying to God I can do this I don’t need you!!!!

When persecution comes in whatever shape don’t feel sorry for yourself or complain because it comes to test and grow you, also you are a threat to the devil. If you are putting the word into your heart then he knows that if he does not get it out, you will cause him a load of trouble.

Look at how Joseph was promoted even inside the prison (Genesis chapter 40)

Romans 5: 3 trials increase your perseverance.

Hebrews 12: 11 Trials Yield Peace.

Problems prove our integrity and reveal who we really are and provide greater opportunity for us, and they are used to prepare us, so ask Father what you are teaching me in this situation. Joseph had to be toughened up or he could not have been prime minister of Egypt.

And if you are not getting bothered by any tests/ trials you are too comfortable Amen.

Now let us go back to the vision of Autumn and the revelation God gave her how low do you want to place yourself?

how much glory do you really want to give God?

Now I have said on several occasions that we are born free but programmed differently.

I also maintain that it does not matter where others are, but it does matter where you are, and I believe that the Holy Spirit is speaking directly to each of us today.

Proverbs 4:23 keep thy heart with all diligence for out of it are  the issues of life.

We can have unforgiveness holding a grudge jealousy anger.

Do you remember the testimony of Izzy on judgement of other drivers?

proverbs 20:9 who can say, I have made my heart clean, I am pure from sin.

let us be like David and cry out regularly create in me a clean heart Oh Lord.

The bible is there to teach us how, in the different issues that we will go through within our lives and we will continually have tests and trials because that is How Father grows and matures us not so we can do things our way but so that we can have that freedom we were born into that rest and peace  which the cross has provided for us,  all we have to do is stay low and humble in our heart give all our issues over to Christ via the Holy Spirit who has been given to us. We learn little by little to give them over to Father and rest during the battle and watch Him take us through then we can give Him all the Glory. Amen.

As said earlier Autumn was filled with wonder enjoyed the peace and was rested while she was laying low, God reminded me so much that when we humble ourselves hand over all our concerns to Him by seeking first His kingdom then all  we need to do is get on with enjoying our journey in rest and peace knowing that He will bring the answers to us, through bringing the right people across our paths, or the right strategy to tackle whatever we may be facing.

The actual battle belongs to the Lord.
