Beloved I pray that you prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.
So, for us to prosper in all areas of our life we must have a prosperous soul. It’s not what we know it’s the daily feeding of our spirit man with the word that changes us speaks to us and grows us. It is what we say and act on in faith that changes our future.
Our tongues carry life or death God spoke and the world was created last week we went through about listening to other conversations and being accountable about how we speak. In today’s society all we here about on the news in the supermarket in the church are negative conversations.
We have been wired by our creator for success and programmed by our upbringing in family school etc.to think the wrong way. Even as a Christian we can choose to believe wrong things.
Jesus called himself the son of man not the son of God and he left all in heaven, yet he chose what he spoke about, and he meditated on the word of God Amen.
Change our thinking and we renew our minds with the word of God choose your language.
Select your news select what you watch on television challenge yourself WHAT do you believe?
What is coming out of your mouth?
Mark 11:23 (NLT)
I tell you the truth you can say to this mountain May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea; and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart.
Now Jesus is not saying to speak to God about the mountain he is telling us to speak to it and when you think about it in our natural sense it sounds silly or should I say foolish!!
1Cor 1:27 says this God has chosen the foolish things of this world to confound the wise
Therefore, if you want to keep the enemy defeated you need to start talking Gods Way amen.
Now the doubts will sneak in because that is how satan works John 10:10.
Our circumstances do not change immediately check out the story in Mark 11:14 re the fig tree Jesus did not go back to check to find out if anything happened. Once he spoke, he considered it done follow His example.
Proverbs 13:3
He who guards his mouth keeps his life, but he who opens wide his lips will come to ruin
Do you gossip ok what you are saying may be true? But the word teaches us not to gossip it is none of our business nor does it do you any good when we speak about others our spirits are not uplifted and the word tells us we will eat the fruit of what we are doing.
Store your future up in your heart it is not dictated by your past, gossip, or negativity
Matt 12|: 34 says out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks so what are you storing up in your heart? the second part of that verse says and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil thing.
Who stored up the evil things in the man’s heart, obviously the man himself so the challenge for us today is what are you storing up in your heart?
In the same way you are the only one who can make the deposits of God’s word into your heart.
Psalm 119:98-99 Through your commandments have made me wiser than my enemies for they are ever with me.
I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation.
What is the word telling us here?
How do you know it works?
Because it tells in Eph. c 6 that we are to put on our armour the word is our armour
Sword of the Spirit is praying the word and it will asunder soul from sprit
Breastplate is our understanding of righteousness and if we do not meditate on the word how do we understand?
The helmet is our salvation and the evil one will mess with you so we need to be meditating on God’s word and when we do watch what it does to your mind and your heart
Psalm 119:105 says this “Thy word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path”.
the word of God needs to impact your life and it will rise within you and guide you within every situation
begin each day by speaking His word over yourself and praying His promises into your life
When the Israelites were in the wilderness there was no food and God rained manna from heaven every day for them, but it did not last till the next day why God was trying to teach them that they could not live on yesterday’s bread it needs to be fresh every day
