We Are Free (1)

Genesis 1:26
Then God said let us make man in our image, according to our likeness; let him have dominion over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, over the cattle over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.

This verse lets us know how much God loves us has prepared for us and has provided for us everything that we would ever need was done. All that He ever wanted from us was for us to have love and fellowship with Him and allow Him to provide everything that we would need, and He gave us a free will to chose this.

Now we are all aware of the fall of man through Adam and Eve however God would send His son Jesus to die on a cross to restore us back to the relationship with Him that we lost Amen.

This is where I would like to talk about just how much freedom that Jesus has given us.

We are Spirit soul and body.
The soul is our emotions, feelings and brains etc.

The body is the flesh and it’s also the temple that we carry God in.

The Spirit is who we are the real you this is how God communicates with each of us this is the real you.

When we decide to give our lives to God it is the Spirit that becomes the new creation this is what we can recognise that is different. It’s the dimension of human personality where our relationship with God is possible,

Mark 2:8
But immediately when Jesus perceived in His Spirit that they reasoned thus within themselves He said to them “why do you reason about these things in your hearts”

Romans 1:9
For God is my witness, whom I serve with my Spirit in the gospel of His son that without ceasing I make mention of you in my prayers.

Romans 8:16
The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God.

1 Cor 5: 3-5
For I indeed as absent in body but present in spirit, have already judged (as though I were present) him who has so done this deed. in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ when you are gathered together, along with my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ. deliver such a one to satan for the destruction of the flesh, that his spirit may be saved in the day of our Lord Jesus.

Its where our spirit enables us to have a conversation with the Holy Spirit. It’s a part of you that is not physical.

Its God’s breath in you.

Genesis 2:7
And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and man became a living soul.

In the book of Romans Paul pleads with the people to offer our bodies and our minds to be given over and yielded to God lets read what he is saying:

Romans 12:1-2
And in the book of Galatians it declares what Jesus has done for us  we are free ;

Galatians 3: 13
Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law having become a curse for us.

AMEN

This verse is teaching us that we are no longer under any curses this includes generational on any kind that the Old Testament may teach about because with regards to the laws etc.  We are restored at salvation in our spirits back to freedom our sin is covered and that lets us concentrate on restoring and renewing our mindsets to what and who God says that we are through his word and the revelations that He gives each of us. He has also given us the Holy spirit who is to help us. (John 14:26) Just how good is that. So, our new journeys really are quite exciting if we can keep our eyes fixed on Him. We have all been created by God we have all been given a free will and God teaches us throughout the bible how He has given a way through al we have to do is chose from our free will how to walk.

Proverbs 18:21
Death and life are in the power of the tongue and those who love it will eat its fruit

Matthew 12:37
For by your words, you will be justified and by your words you will be condemned

Deuteronomy 8:3 & Mathew 4:4
That man shall not live by bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.

John 14:6
I am the way the truth and the life
